If you are using a web authoring program that does not have FTP capabilities (or has a really bad FTP interface) then we recommend one of the following FTP programs. After you have created your web site and are ready to upload it then you will need one of the following FTP programs depending on your computer and software.
• FTP programs for Mac
• Transmit: This is a new favorite around here.
• Fetch: This is the old Mac standby for FTP. You probably
already have it on your machine. If not, I'd get Transmit instead.
• Interarchy: This is another FTP client beloved by many Mac geeks.
• Fire FTP: This is a plugin for Mozilla Firefox. It works great, and it's FREE as long as you have FIrefox on your machine, which
also happens to be free, so if you are on a tight budget, this is truly the way to go.

• CuteFTP: No opinion here. Have an opinion, tell us.
• Absolute FTP: No idea. Never used it.
• WS-FTP: We hear this one will suffice.

ProFTP: This is a multiple-FTP account option for our Advanced and Pro hosting customers. Give your clients FTP access for exchanging files without giving them access to your entire site.
